I’ve always been a decorator at heart.
From a young age, I loved pulling together shapes, textures, and colors in ways that just felt right. It actually began with clothing. When I walked into a store, I didn’t just see ready-made outfits — I saw possibilities. I’d start mixing and matching across collections, imagining new combinations that better reflected harmony and flow.
Even then, I realized design wasn’t just about following what was “in style.” It was about how something made you feel— confident, inspired, and completely yourself. That feeling still guides everything I do today.
From Fashion to Home Design
That same creative spark naturally evolved into a love for home design and decorating. Now, instead of fabrics and accessories, I work with paint colors, wallpaper patterns, wood tones, and textures that bring spaces to life.
I love how furniture placement, proportion, and flow can transform a room — not just visually, but emotionally. Just like putting together an outfit that feels right, decorating a home is about finding that perfect balance between comfort, beauty, and personality.
My professional journey began at a local home décor store, Endless Designs, where I spent five years helping customers find pieces that reflected their style and story. When the store closed, I knew this was more than a job — it was my passion. That’s when I founded Always Thinking Designs, LLC, right here in Marshfield, Wisconsin.

My Approach to Decorating

I’m proud to be both a Certified Interior Decorator (CID) and a Certified True Colour Expert through the Maria Killam Colour Academy. This training allows me to use proven design principles and color systems to help clients confidently choose the right paint colors, finishes, and furnishings for their home — inside and out.
I’ve built relationships with trusted vendors and local artisans across Central Wisconsin, ensuring that my clients have access to high-quality, affordable products and services that enhance their decorating experience.
Building trust with my clients is something I truly value. I take time to get to know your story — how you live, what inspires you, and how you want your home to feel. Together, we’ll create a design plan that reflects your personality and lifestyle while staying on budget and on schedule.
Some clients love being hands-on, while others prefer that I take care of everything. Either way, I make the process enjoyable and transparent, always explaining the “why” behind each choice so you feel confident and excited about the transformation.
